After five years of accumulation and consolidation in the industry, the company was officially registered in 2016, with the R&D department established; its single product – the vortex flow meter – took the lead in sales.
The company has moved to a new factory, expanded its scale, extended its production lines, realized the diversified production of products, and initiated the project for R&D of gas metering products.
The gas metering products have entered mass production, with their market share further expanded. Meanwhile, the production lines are developing toward standardization and integration.
The company has achieved leapfrog development and forged ahead with remarkable momentum to expand its scale, while taking standardized production to a higher level.
The products are iteratively updated, the production lines have been expanded to cover a complete range of product categories, and the products hold full qualification certifications.
In the post-pandemic era, the company forged ahead against the trend: it built a new-type laboratory in Weihai to strengthen R&D efforts; established a production base in Jiangsu to ensure product quality; and fully launched the third-generation Internet of Things (IoT) system, which significantly boosted product sales.
The company has further expanded its scale, with 4 additional sets of experimental equipment, making it a leading manufacturer in terms of calibration capabilities in Shandong Province. It has invested heavily in the R&D of vortex flow sensors; its isolated and anti-vibration vortex flow meter was named one of the "Top 10 New Products of 2024" by the Chinese Society of Instrumentation and also won the Shandong Provincial Innovation Award. Product sales have increased by 40%, and its flow meter production line ranks among the top in Shandong Province.
In 2025, Doterra Automation reached new heights in the field of product technological innovation. Its independently developed "Structural Anti-Vibration Vortex Flow Meter" made a grand debut at the influential Zibo Chemical Industry Exhibition this year, immediately becoming the focus of attention at the exhibition and triggering enthusiastic responses and high praise from users and industry peers.
